Currently the Head Of Human Resources at UniBank Ghana Limited, Delanyo has held many positions in his career which includes Group HR, Training and Development Manager, Vlisco Ghana Limited, Tema, Human Resource Manager  at Vlisco Ghana Limited, Juapong Textiles, Remunerations Employee Relations Manager, British American Tobacco, Takoradi and Principal Industrial Relations Officer and Head of Managerial Staff Union at ICU OF TUC.

Delanyo holds MPhil, M.A in Human Resource Management, B.A.(Hons) and Diploma in Education from University of Cape Coast and 4-Year Post Middle Cert. A from Peki Government Teachers Training College.
He recommends the books, ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’, ‘The 7 habits of highly effective people’ and ‘ Why you act the way you do’ for personal development. In life he believes  one should ‘Always aim high because today’s achievements are just an iota of what you are capable of doing/achieving’, ‘ Avoid telling lies and be godly and morally unblemished’ and ‘Do what you have to do when you ought to do it rather than procrastinating’.
During his leisure hours, he loves to listen to music of all kinds, read novels and watch football.
